Your path to a beautiful, functional smile starts with a simple conversation and a comprehensive dental exam. During your personalized consultation, we will create a complete picture of your current dental health and listen to your concerns. Together, we will craft a clear set of goals for your dental recovery. Using state-of-the-art fully digital imaging technology, we will build a thorough 3D model of your teeth, gums and bone structure, so we can craft our expectations for your results and target an appropriate plan for your specific needs. Your plan will be created with financial concerns and financing options in mind. Together, we will also determine which sedation option is best for you. While some patients choose to stay awake and just use local numbing for their surgery, many patients prefer to sleep through their procedures, and we have options available to accommodate everyone!
On the day of your procedure, after checking in at our front desk, you’ll be taken to your private dental suite. Once you’re comfortable, we will get you set up with your preferred sedation option, if any. When you are completely prepared, we will place the appropriate number of implants for your procedure into your jawbone. These precision anchors made from body-safe materials will create the foundation for your new teeth. We always use the latest techniques and technology, in order to ensure accurate placement for the best long-term results. Recovery from implant surgery is usually very comfortable for our patients. You may feel slightly sore or swollen for a few days, but bone tissue doesn’t have any nerve endings, so you won’t even feel most of the healing process. Some patients qualify to have their new teeth placed the same day! If you’re a good candidate, you may be able to leave with your new smile right away! In some cases, the surgical phase of your treatment may need one extra step. To be sure your implants will last, your bone may need a bit of extra support. We will determine your need for bone grafting or bone preservation in advance, so there shouldn’t be any surprises.
